History

The parent company of the Moultrie and Summit brands is Pradco Outdoor Brands, building on a tradition dating back to 1894, when it was founded on the banks of Old Mill Pond in Dowagiac, Michigan, by Heddon Lures. The Moultrie brand itself was founded in 1979 and since that time it has continuously improved its range of automatic feeding equipment. It has gone from its humble beginnings with photocell-based feeders to today’s range of models with fully programmable digital control units that will not disappoint you under any circumstances. In addition to feeders, however, its product range also includes professional photo-traps.

Developed the same time as Moultrie, the Summit brand set out to bring safe, light and practical climbing seats to the US market. Both brands quickly expanded and today they are one of the best known makers of hunting gear in the US and worldwide.

The main product carrying the Moultrie brand is its automatic feeding equipment. They include both simple photocell-controlled feeders and sophisticated models with a digital control unit. There are also small feeders for beginners and big professional models that are directional and omni-directional. The feeders can be easily combined with different types of feed dispensers, which can also be found in our range. But in addition to feeders, we also offer the Moultrie photo-trap, characterized by unsurpassed quality recording, reliability and intuitive control.

The Summit brand offers a variety of climbing seats that make it easy to climb up any straight tree and assume an optimal shooting position where no animal has the slightest chance of seeing you there.
